Housekeeper - Private Residence

We're searching for a special person to become an important part of our family and home.

This is more than a housekeeping role. We're looking for someone who takes genuine pride in creating a warm, organised, and welcoming environment, and who enjoys helping a busy household run smoothly. If you're the type of person who notices what needs doing, loves bringing order to a home, and finds satisfaction in making life easier for others, we'd love to hear from you.

This position is based in our private residence in North Coogee, working 3-4 days a week Tuesday to Friday, 9:00am to 2:00pm.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll play a key role in keeping our home running effortlessly by:

• Maintaining a clean, tidy, and organised household

• Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and general household cleaning

• Laundry, ironing, linen changes, and wardrobe organisation

• Caring for delicate surfaces, furnishings, and finishes

• Overseeing tradespeople attending the home when required

• Cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, mirrors, glass, and living spaces

• Hang out occasionally with our fur babies (golden retrievers)

• Running errands (car provided)

• Grocery shopping  

Who We Are Looking For

The ideal person will:

• Be reliable, punctual, and trustworthy

• Have a strong eye for detail and high housekeeping standards

• Take initiative and naturally spot what needs doing

• Be organised and able to manage their time effectively

• Have previous housekeeping or domestic cleaning experience

• Speak fluent English

• Have knowledge of caring for different fabrics, surfaces, and household products

• Be physically capable of carrying out housekeeping duties

• Enjoy building long-term relationships and genuinely caring about the family they support

• Valid drivers licence
