About the role:

The Geelong Clinic is looking to employ a Food Services Assistant to join our supportive team on a casual basis for weekend shifts and some occasional weekday work. You will work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment that strives to deliver outstanding healthcare to our patients.


About us: 
The Geelong Clinic is a private Psychiatric Hospital that has expanded and offers a wide range of inpatient and day programs supported by an outreach service for individuals requiring mental health care. Located on the outskirts of Geelong, within close proximity to spectacular coastal attractions, the hospital operates two busy onsite outpatient practices which have additional capacity as part of our expansion project.


Key responsibilities:

·       Deliver, serve and collect all patient food requirements and meal trays
·       Assist in daily food preparation and basic meal assembly
·       Clean and maintain utensils and kitchen equipment in accordance with hospital and industry food safety and hygiene standards


Essential Criteria:

·       Current Food Processing Certificate Level 1 (working towards or willing to attain)
·       Volume sandwich making advantageous
·       Prior experience in Healthcare Food Services
·       Passion for delivering exceptional customer service
·       Demonstrated ability to work without supervision as well as part of a team
·       Excellent time management skills
·       Flexible to work a variety of shifts, inclusive of weekends
·       COVID vaccination certificate
·       Working with Children Check required
·       Current Police Check
