The Role

Working within the close knit Membership team and reporting to the Membership Manager your primary purpose will be to assist with the daily operations and tasks of the department as well as projects and strategic plans when required. A successful candidate will be passionate, organised, have exceptional attention to detail and be able to interact in a highly personable and professional manner with members and internal departments whilst at all times demonstrating our core values.

Key Responsibilities will include:

•  Support the Membership team across all Member communication activities, including annual processes, Reciprocal Club protocols, and in-person and written correspondence, ensuring information is consistently accurate, timely, and professional.
• Manage day-day membership enquiries and requests from initial contact through to resolution, escalating complex or sensitive matters to the Membership Manager as appropriate.
• Support the annual new member intake and onboarding process, including coordinating notices, welcome materials, Club tours, welcome events and ongoing engagement initiatives.
• As part of the member nomination process, collate and coordinate candidate documentation and prepare accurate files and supporting materials for the Membership Nominations Review Sub-Committee.
• Support the Membership and Events team in the creation, planning and delivery of events, activities and experiences for existing, new and prospective members.
• Collect, track and prepare membership data to support Club reporting, analysis and decision-making.
• Provide administrative support for the Membership team including coordinating various meetings, creating templates and the preparing relevant supporting documentation.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, templates and electronic filing systems, and proactively identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal departments on the development, improvement and delivery of membership-related projects and initiatives as required.
