About us
Woollahra is an area steeped in natural beauty and heritage appealing to residents, businesses and visitors who enjoy its many parks, waterfront locations and historic buildings. Woollahra Preschool is well-resourced to provide quality education and care to 80 children aged three to five, over four school terms and we are committed to providing a high-quality curriculum that helps to lay the best possible foundations for children through our Preschool.
About the role
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Preschool Teacher to join our supportive and passionate team on a permanent part-time basis. The hours are 7 hours per day on Thursday and Friday, making 14 hours per week.
Working within a team of dedicated educators, you will be responsible for planning and implementing the emergent curriculum for one group of twenty preschool children per week in one of four rooms within the Preschool in collaboration with the children, families, and co-workers, through application of professional expertise in effective early childhood education.
The Preschool currently operates from 8.30am to 4.00pm during public school terms. The successful Candidate will need to be available to attend staff meetings, training undertake curriculum planning and other work activities, which may occur during the shut-down period or outside the preschool hours.
This position is subject to child protection screening, Police check and a pre-employment medical check.
