About the role

This is a hands-on, client-focused role involving both delivering exceptional hair replacement services and taking responsibility for the day-to-day client experience and presentation of the studio. Technical ability is important, but personality is equally important. You will need to read people well, adapt quickly to different personalities and make each client feel comfortable and understood.

Key responsibilities

• Fitting and maintaining hair replacement systems
• Cutting and blending hair systems
• Styling and finishing
• Removing, cleaning and reapplying systems
• Providing ongoing maintenance and aftercare
• Attending to each client's individual needs throughout their appointment
• Ensuring client details, notes and relevant information are accurately maintained
• Building strong, professional relationships with clients
• Preparing and resetting work areas between appointments
• Daily cleaning and maintaining the presentation of the studio

About you

• Has previous experience with hairpieces, hair systems or hair replacement
• Is warm, confident and genuinely personable
• Can quickly adapt approach to suit different client personalities
• Understands the discretion and sensitivity involved in hair replacement
• Is highly organised, reliable and punctual
• Has excellent attention to detail
• Is proactive and comfortable taking responsibility for daily studio duties
• Takes pride in both work and the environment
• Is comfortable following established systems and procedures
• Enjoys working within a structured and highly organised environment
