Part Time contract working 45.6 hours per fortnight - contract from 1 September 2026 to 30 June 2030
About the Position
The Community Connections Officer (CCO) is responsible for the development and implementation of place-based and issues-based community development initiatives that build community capacity and foster community leadership to create sustainable quality of life outcomes.
The CCO will work with residents, community groups and agencies that come together to act on and find answers to common concerns; connecting with community in public spaces, community facilities and on the streets to improve opportunities for our community.
About You
Working as part of a collaborative Community Development team in a collaborative, community driven and fun environment – your energy, positivity and passion for people will enable you to support our team, residents and community groups to achieve their goals and aspirations. You will have a natural ability to communicate with influence and build rapport with our communities. You’ll be no stranger to multi-tasking in a CCO position. You will possess highly developed interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
