Mechanical Fitter - The Role

• Maintain, inspect, and repair conveyors, dock equipment, pumps, valves, compressors, and HVAC components.

• Diagnose mechanical faults quickly and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance across warehouse operations.

• Read and interpret technical drawings, quality documentation, and maintenance work orders.

• Support planned facility shutdowns, capital projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Uphold strict WHS standards and work collaboratively with the maintenance reliability team.

Mechanical Fitter - Hours & Pay

• Salary: $90,000 per year + call-outs + overtime opportunities

• Shift: Day shift (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM)

What You Need

• Trade Qualification as a Mechanical Fitter (Cert III in Engineering or Fitter/Machinist equivalent).

• Proven experience in facilities, warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing maintenance.

• Solid working knowledge of pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, and rotating equipment.

• Strong troubleshooting skills, physical fitness, and a safety-first mindset.
