About the role
As the Deputy Program Manager Acute Intervention Services, you will play a key leadership role in supporting the Program Manager to provide strategic and operational leadership across Acute Intervention Services (AIS).
Working within a recovery-oriented framework, you will help ensure services are high quality, innovative, evidence-based and responsive to the needs of consumers and the community. You will provide leadership, mentoring and support to the AIS Leadership Team, while contributing to the effective operational and clinical management of the service.
You will lead specific portfolios and strategic initiatives as delegated by the Program Manager, which may include supporting bed coordination activities and driving quality improvement across AIS. Working closely with the Deputy Program Medical Director, you will contribute to service development, clinical governance and the ongoing improvement of MHDAS Acute Intervention Services.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the delivery and future direction of acute mental health services at Barwon Health.
