Working as a Clinical Nurse Specialist - Remote in Walpole, you will:

• • Lead the day-to-day operations of the Walpole Nursing Post.
  • Deliver emergency care, including participation in an on-call roster.
  • Provide a broad range of outpatient and primary healthcare services tailored to community needs.
  • Coordinate chronic disease management, wound care, immunisation and health promotion programs.
  • Support community health initiatives and preventative healthcare activities.
  • Work collaboratively with Denmark Health Service and Albany Health Campus to deliver integrated care.
  • Provide clinical leadership, mentoring and support to multidisciplinary teams.
  • Drive quality improvement, safety and clinical governance activities within the service.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will be AHPRA registered with significant clinical experience in emergency, primary healthcare and chronic disease management. You will bring strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently in a rural or remote setting. Previous remote area nursing experience will be highly regarded.
