Working alongside our Chief Radiographer and Office Manager, you'll play a key leadership role in supporting our talented team, enhancing workflow, and helping shape the future of our growing practice.

About the Role

As our Radiographer 2IC, you'll combine your clinical expertise with strong leadership to help deliver an outstanding patient and staff experience.

You'll be responsible for:

• Supporting the Chief Radiographer in the day-to-day management of the imaging department.

• Leading, mentoring, and motivating a high-performing team.

• Ensuring exceptional patient care and a positive patient experience.

• Maintaining high standards of imaging quality, radiation safety, and clinical practice.

• Coordinating daily workflow to maximise efficiency across the department.

• Supporting staff development, training, and performance.

• Contributing to quality improvement initiatives and service excellence.

• Working collaboratively with radiologists, referrers, and the wider healthcare team.

About You

You'll be an experienced radiographer who enjoys helping others succeed and leading by example.

You'll bring:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Medical Radiation Practitioner.

• Previous experience in private practice or a busy imaging department.

• Proven leadership or supervisory experience (or the ambition to step into a leadership role).

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

• A commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

• A proactive, positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience across multiple imaging modalities will be highly regarded.
