Administration Officer - Sales Support Officer

Our client is looking for an experienced Sales Support Officer to join their team in Toowoomba. This is a varied role combining quoting, renewals, customer service, sales administration and vendor coordination, with plenty of opportunity to build your knowledge within the technology industry.

You'll play an important role in supporting the Sales and Business Development team by managing the administrative and transactional side of sales, allowing the sales team to focus on building strong customer relationships and growing the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage customer quotes accurately and within required timeframes.
• Follow up quotes with customers and manage them through to a decision.
• Prepare and manage software licensing and renewal quotes.
• Manage Hardware as a Service renewals and agreement renewal dates.
• Maintain accurate customer asset, warranty and lifecycle records.
• Obtain and verify vendor pricing and identify the best available purchasing options.
• Liaise with vendors and distributors regarding pricing, promotions and opportunities.
• Manage deal registrations and vendor partner requirements.
• Maintain CPQ templates and product/pricing information.
• Identify upcoming renewals and ensure customers are contacted well ahead of expiry.
• Manage a portfolio of smaller customers as their day-to-day point of contact.
• Handle customer enquiries and the sales phone line.
• Book sales travel and assist with general sales administration.
• Support the Sales & Business Development Manager with projects and other tasks as required.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure all customer communication is documented.

About You We're looking for someone who is highly organised, commercially minded and confident dealing with customers and suppliers.

You will ideally have:

• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
• Experience preparing quotes, managing renewals or coordinating customer accounts.
• Confident communication skills and a professional telephone manner.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
• The ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities.
• Excellent computer skills and confidence learning new systems.
• Experience with ConnectWise or similar CRM/ERP systems would be highly regarded.
• A proactive approach and the confidence to follow up customers rather than simply sending quotes and waiting.
• The ability to work autonomously while also being a strong team player.

The Right Person You'll be someone who takes ownership, follows things through and genuinely enjoys keeping things organised. You won't be afraid to pick up the phone, chase an outstanding quote, speak with a customer or supplier, and make sure the next step is always clear.

You'll be commercially aware, detail-focused and proactive, with the ability to identify potential issues before they become problems.

What You'll Get

• $70,000 – $75,000 + Super, depending on experience.
