Full-Time | Head Chef

Quick Brown Fox Eatery is looking for an experienced, passionate and hands-on Head Chef to lead our kitchen team and take ownership of our food offering.

We’re looking for someone who knows how to run a busy kitchen, lead a team, maintain high standards and deliver consistently great food in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

As Head Chef, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the kitchen, including food quality, kitchen operations, team leadership, ordering, stock control and cost management.

You’ll work closely with the venue management team to develop and maintain a strong food offering that reflects the Quick Brown Fox brand.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience working as a Head Chef

• Previous experience in a busy café environment highly preferred

• Strong leadership and team management skills

• Excellent knowledge of food preparation, presentation and kitchen operations

• Strong understanding of food costing, GP, ordering and stock control

• Ability to manage kitchen labour and maintain wage targets

• Excellent organisational and communication skills

• A strong understanding of food safety and HACCP requirements

• The ability to remain calm and organised in a high-pressure service

• A hands-on approach and willingness to work alongside the team

• A genuine passion for food, hospitality and creating a great customer experience
