Your day as a Senior Cabinet Liaison Officer

As a Senior Cabinet Liaison Officer, you’ll provide advice and ongoing Cabinet administrative, operational and project and policy support to the Associate Director, Cabinet Unit. This includes ensuring the flow of high quality, strategic and timely advice from subject matter experts to the executive and Treasury ministerial offices to support involvement in Cabinet and Committees. The role also supports Treasury’s board appointments and Executive Council processes.

• risk management, stakeholder management, strong communication and critical thinking skills
• demonstrated understanding of government functions and activities, including Cabinet processes
• strong organisational skills, with the ability to plan and manage work processes involving multiple stakeholders in a high-pressure, high-volume environment with tight deadlines
• ability to exercise initiative, sound judgement, maintain confidentiality and demonstrate integrity.

Eligibility
