Tiling Trainer and Assessor

Inscope Training (RTO #40926) is a leading provider of vocational education and training, specialising in trade-based apprenticeships and nationally recognised short courses. We are seeking a passionate and qualified Wall & Floor Tiler. This role involves delivering training and assessment to apprentice students across Brisbane, Ipswich, Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast, regional students (remote work).

Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to)

• Travel to apprentice workplaces across Brisbane, Ipswich, the Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast, regional areas.
• Deliver high-quality training and assessment to apprentices in the workplace and during in-house training sessions.
• Deliver remote training and support to regional students via Microsoft Teams and other approved online learning platforms.
• Deliver training and assessment for the Certificate II in Construction program, including theory and practical components where required.
• Support students throughout their apprenticeship and training journey to achieve successful outcomes.
• Conduct regular workplace visits with apprentices and employers.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with students, employers and the Inscope Training team.
• Ensure a high level of customer service through both verbal and written communication.
• Engage with key internal stakeholders to support training operations.
• Assist with the implementation of new systems and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate student records and complete all required training and assessment documentation in accordance with RTO, funding contract and compliance requirements.

Essential Selection Criteria

• Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge of the tiling trade and current industry practices, including holding a CPC31320: Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling (or an equivalent qualification)
• Hold a TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or an equivalent qualification)
• Hold or be willing to obtain [White Card] CPCWHS1001 – Prepare to Work Safely in the construction Industry (or equivalent)
• Hold or be willing to obtain a Blue Card (Working with children)
• Have a current driver’s license and own reliable transport
• Good computer skills or the ability to acquire them
• Ability to follow processes and procedures for online data bases (both internal and external).
