Graduate / Assistant Account Executive

Sear & Associates Insurance Brokers have been providing Insurance Broking Services to commercial businesses throughout Australia for over 50 years. We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Graduate / Junior Account Executive with great communication skills to join our dynamic team. This position is suited to individuals who have 1 to 2 years' of insurance broking experience or those looking to enter the industry for the first time, having recently completed or soon to complete a degree qualification in a related field (e.g. business, finance, insurance).

About the role

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Provide support to Account Executives and Account Manager

• Assist with management of client portfolios and specific client accounts

• Provide client service by answering basic enquiries

• Provide basic advice within assigned authorities

• Carry out client and underwriter communications as instructed

• Administer claims and service enquiries

• Assist with marketing activities

About You

• Neat and tidy presentation

• Sound computer skills

• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Strong attention to detail

• A professional and pleasant phone manner

• Good time management skills and the ability to multi task

• Willing to undertake future study of Tier 1 insurance broking and diploma qualifications

• 1 to 2 years' of insurance broking experience, OR

• Successful completion or near completion of degree qualification
