CloudMarc is looking for an experienced Senior Quality Engineer with strong hands-on Playwright and JavaScript automation experience to join a major enterprise program in Melbourne.
This is a hands-on Quality Engineering role focused on building robust automation coverage across modern web applications, APIs and complex end-to-end customer journeys.
The RoleYou’ll be responsible for:
Designing, developing and maintaining automation frameworks using Playwright and JavaScript.Building reliable and scalable automated test coverage.Performing functional, integration, regression and end-to-end testing.Developing automated tests across complex web applications.Performing API and integration testing.Creating and maintaining test scenarios, test cases and test data.Integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.Investigating failures and working closely with developers to resolve defects.Contributing to Quality Engineering standards and continuous improvement.Working closely with engineering, product and delivery teams throughout the SDLC.
What We're Looking ForStrong commercial experience as a Senior Quality Engineer / Senior Automation Engineer / SDET.Strong hands-on Playwright experience – essential.Strong JavaScript automation experience – essential.Proven experience designing and maintaining automation frameworks.Strong web application automation experience.API and integration testing experience.Strong functional and end-to-end testing fundamentals.Experience with CI/CD and automated testing pipelines.Experience working within Agile engineering environments.Ability to work independently and contribute technically across the QE function.Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
