SENIOR ACCOUNTANT – MACKAY, REGIONAL QLD – WELL ESTABLISHED FIRM - $90K–$110K + 2PM FRIDAY FINISHES (JOB ID 833)

You’ll join a collaborative team environment with direct access to Partners, giving you the autonomy to manage your own client portfolio while contributing to the development of junior staff and the ongoing growth of the firm. 

The Role: 

• Manage a portfolio of business services clients across a range of industries  

• Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns, and tax plans  

• Oversee BAS, IAS, and compliance obligations  

• Liaise directly with clients and the ATO  

• Deliver value-add services including cash flow forecasting and tax planning  

• Mentor and support junior team members  

• Work closely with Partners on client strategy and advisory  

About You: 

• 5+ years’ experience in Australian business services and taxation  

• Strong Australian technical accounting and tax knowledge  

• CA/CPA qualified (or near completion)  

• Experience managing client relationships and workflows  

• Strong communication and leadership skills  

• Proficiency in MYOB, Xero or QuickBooks  

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
