Trainee Industrial Painter Coating Applicator

Corrocoat is looking for a skilled motivated painter and coating applicator who is looking to up skill themselves in a rewarding working environment.

• Trainee Corrocoat specialist coating applicator.

• Trainee Industrial Painter / Coater, Blaster.

• Suits experienced commercial and automotive painter with strong mechanical aptitude.

Some of the Duties;

• Industrial painting and coating work for both workshop & site based projects.

• Coating of industrial equipment: Tanks, Pipes, Pumps, Valves, Structural Steel.

Skills and Experience;

• Trade Qualified Painter (Highly Regarded)

• Strong mechanical aptitude (Highly Regarded)

• Abrasive blasting (Preferred)

• Working at Heights (Preferred)

• Working In A Confined Space (Preferred)

• Right to Work in Australia (Mandatory)

• Drivers License (Mandatory)

• EWP & Forklift High Risk License (Preferred)

For the right candidates, Corrocoat will assist in obtaining qualifications and training.

To be considered you will need to demonstrate the following:

• 2 - 3 years' credible and demonstrated experience within the coating/painting industry.

• Strong mechanical aptitude.

• A commitment to quality & safety.

• Ability to complete long work durations.

• Willingness to perform other work.

• Flexibility and understanding to meet schedules.

• A genuine Team player that respects others and puts in the required effort to achieve set goals.

• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screen.

• You will have experience in carrying out the below tasks;

  • Proven ability to apply coating proficiently.

  • Be conversant in the handling, mixing and application various coating systems.
