Evolution Civil Maintenance is seeking a highly motivated and commercially focused Regional Civils Manager - Guardrail & Bridges NSW to lead and grow our specialist infrastructure division across New South Wales.

The Opportunity

As the Regional Civils Manager - Guardrail & Bridges NSW, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient and profitable operation and growth of the business throughout New South Wales.

Reporting to senior leadership, you will provide operational, commercial and people leadership across multiple projects and maintenance programs while developing strategic relationships and identifying new opportunities for growth.

This role offers significant autonomy and the opportunity to influence business performance, grow market share and build a strong and sustainable future for the division.

What You'll Be Responsible For

Operational Leadership

• Leading day to day operations across the Guardrail and Bridges business.
• Driving safety, quality, productivity and customer satisfaction outcomes.
• Managing labour, plant, equipment, subcontractors and operational resources.
• Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to client expectations.

Commercial Management

• Managing budgets, forecasts and business performance.
• Driving revenue growth and profitability.
• Monitoring project and operational financial performance.
• Supporting tendering, estimating and pricing activities.

Business Development

• Building and maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships.
• Identifying and securing new business opportunities.
• Expanding Evolution Civil's Guardrail and Bridges capability and market presence.
• Promoting the broader capabilities of the Evolution Group.

People Leadership

• Leading, mentoring and developing supervisors and project teams.
• Supporting recruitment, workforce planning and succession development.
• Building a high performance culture focused on accountability, teamwork and continuous improvement.

Safety and Compliance

• Championing a strong safety first culture.
• Ensuring compliance with WHS, environmental and quality requirements.
• Managing operational and commercial risks.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives across all aspects of the business.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Demonstrated success in a senior operational, regional management or civil construction leadership role.
• Experience within guardrail, bridge maintenance, road maintenance, civil construction or related infrastructure sectors.
• Proven Commercial acumen and and financial management experience with proven responsibility for budgets and profitability.
• Experience managing multiple projects, teams and operational resources.
• Sound understanding of civil construction practices, contracts, estimating and tendering processes.
• Exceptional client relationship, stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills.
• Well-developed knowledge of WHS, risk management and compliance requirements
• A proactive leadership style with the ability to inspire, motivate and develop teams.
• Current Driver Licence and Construction White Card.

Qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field will be highly regarded.
