Technical Demonstrator - Automotive Refinish

At PPG Automotive Refinish, we're looking for a trade-qualified Vehicle Painter who wants to build a long-term career helping customers improve quality, productivity and business performance.

Based from our Braeside training centre and supporting customers across Victoria, you'll work closely with body shops, distributors and the sales team to deliver technical demonstrations, training and support that help customers get the very best from our products and services.

This isn't a traditional sales role. It's about combining your technical expertise with strong communication and relationship-building skills to become a trusted advisor to customers across the automotive refinish industry.

How you'll make an impact

• Deliver technical demonstrations that support new business opportunities across Victoria

• Provide post-sale technical support, training and application advice to customers and distributor partners

• Help customers improve quality, productivity and profitability through PPG products, services and expertise

• Support the retention and growth of key customer relationships

• Promote safe work practices and industry best practice across the Automotive Refinish market

What will set you apart

• Vehicle Painting Trade Certificate in Automotive Refinish (essential)

• Experience within automotive refinish, collision repair or smash repair environments

• Confidence presenting, demonstrating and engaging with customers

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• Ability to translate technical knowledge into practical customer solutions

• A consultative approach focused on helping customers achieve better business outcomes

• Current driver's licence

Experience with PPG or competitor refinish products will be highly regarded.
