Company Description Guardia is a property services company focused on supporting individuals with real estate interests in India while they live abroad. The team provides visibility, control, and access to current and future investments in a range of property types, including family homes, agricultural land, plots, and commercial spaces. Guardia’s guardians deliver holistic services covering security, maintenance, tenant management, and legal oversight to help clients manage property needs without stress. With an emphasis on trust, transparency, and comprehensive care, Guardia enables clients to manage their Indian property portfolio from the comfort of their current home.
Role Description This is a full-time React Native Developer – Mobile role based in Sydney, NSW, structured as a hybrid position with a mix of in-office and work-from-home days. The developer will build, maintain, and optimize mobile applications using React Native, collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver user-friendly and reliable features. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing front-end components, integrating with back-end services and APIs, ensuring performance and responsiveness, and writing clean, testable code. The role also involves reviewing code, troubleshooting issues, participating in agile ceremonies, and contributing to technical decisions that improve the mobile experience for Guardia’s customers.
Qualifications
Strong front-end development skills, including experience with React Native and JavaScript for mobile user interface implementation.Experience with back-end web development and software development practices, including working with APIs, data models, and integration workflows.Proficiency with state management libraries such as Redux.js and familiarity with modern JavaScript tooling and frameworks.Solid understanding of mobile application architecture, performance optimization, testing, and debugging on iOS and Android platforms.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Experience with secure coding practices, RESTful or GraphQL APIs, and CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps is highly beneficial.Familiarity with property-tech or financial services products is an advantage but not required.
