Senior Contract Administrator - Construction

This is an excellent opportunity for a construction-focused Contract Administrator looking to take the next step in their career and work across complex projects.

Please note: Australian Citizenship is mandatory. The successful candidate will be required to obtain and maintain an NV2 security clearance and must be available to work onsite 5 days per week.

About the Role

You will support the commercial and contractual delivery of construction projects, working closely with Project Managers, subcontractors, consultants and suppliers.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Administer and manage construction contracts from commencement through to completion
• Support Project Managers with commercial and contractual matters
• Manage subcontractor agreements and contractual documentation
• Monitor contractual obligations, milestones and deliverables
• Assist with variations, claims and extensions of time
• Review and assess subcontractor claims and supporting documentation
• Maintain accurate contract registers and project records
• Identify contractual risks and escalate issues proactively
• Support procurement and subcontractor engagement
• Prepare commercial reports and project documentation
• Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and key stakeholders
• Ensure contractual and commercial processes are managed effectively throughout the project lifecycle

About You

To be successful, you will have:

• Proven experience as a Contract Administrator within the construction industry
• Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial processes
• Experience managing subcontractors, variations, claims and contractual documentation
• Strong commercial and financial awareness
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with Project Managers and wider project teams
• Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Contracts, Business or a related discipline will be highly regarded
