About the Role
We are seeking a Manufacturing Technical Officer to provide technical support in the manufacturing of alkaloid raw materials. This role is pivotal in ensuring that systems, facilities, and equipment function efficiently to maintain safety, quality compliance, and production targets.
Key Responsibilities

• Ensure regulatory compliance and performance in safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Oversee manufacturing and packing processes, adhering to cGMP requirements and maintaining inventory.
• Create and manage manufacturing documentation in line with GMP/quality standards.
• Lead training initiatives for manufacturing personnel, including competency frameworks.
• Conduct technical reviews and investigate process deviations, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Support continuous improvement processes within the department.

Working Environment
This role provides essential technical support, focusing on monitoring production processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance. You will collaborate closely with various departments and liaise with external auditors, contractors, and consultants.
Reporting Structure

• Reports to: Manufacturing Manager
• Collaborates with: Manufacturing Supervisor, Process Engineer, and internal departments

Skills and Qualifications

• Essential: Experience in a manufacturing technical role, strong literacy and numeracy, proficiency in MS Office.
• Desirable: Tertiary qualifications in Science, Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering, and knowledge of cGMP manufacturing.
• Attributes: Strong communication, technical skills, teamwork, adaptability, and commitment to continuous improvement.
