As a market leader, we provide cargo sales and marketing activities for international airlines across Australia and New Zealand. Due to increased frequencies and planned expansion of carriers we represent, opportunities have arisen for experienced Cargo Sales Officers to join our experienced teams in Perth to market these products aggressively to increase revenue and market share.

Air Cargo | Airline Environment | Australia

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cargo Executive to join our air cargo team. This role sits at the intersection of reservation and customer service, supporting front line sales while ensuring compliance with airline and regulatory standards.

This position is ideal for someone with passion and interest in aviation or freight industry who thrives in a fast-paced, operationally driven environment.

About You

You are passionate about aviation and logistics, with a strong customer-first mindset and the ability to operate confidently under time pressure.

Key Requirements:

• Previous experience in airline freight operations, logistics, or cargo customer service (preferred)

• Familiarity with aircraft types such as A330, A330F, A350, & B787 and associated ULD configurations (preferred)

• Trained in airline cargo systems (preferred)

• Dangerous Goods (DG) certified (preferred)

• Strong communication skills when liaising with freight forwarders, airlines, CTO/GHA, and internal sales teams

• Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

• Proficient in PC-based systems and reporting tools

• Permanent working rights in Australia

Key Responsibilities

Reservation & Customer Service

• Provide advice to customers on space availability, routing, and acceptance requirements

• Manage reservations in airline systems in line with airline and company policies

• Ensure bookings comply with aircraft capabilities, regulatory requirements, and safety standards

• Coordinate rate application with reporting Manager

• Optimise load factors by maximising available capacity on all departures

• Prepare Freight Booking Lists (FBL) / load plans and provide loading instructions to CTO/GHA

• Track shipments through to destination and proactively manage post-flight follow-up

• Manage operational and service-related enquiries through to resolution
