Teacher of Mathematics

The Southport School is a leading Anglican Day and Boarding School for boys situated on the banks of the Nerang River in the heart of the Gold Coast.  The Southport School (TSS) has been established for 125 years and is committed to providing excellence in leadership, learning and teaching, pastoral care, and extra-curricular endeavours within a balanced, holistic Christian environment.  The School has a vibrant boarding, academic, cultural and sporting program that extends across the full year and two campuses.

You will join us as a Permanent Full-Time Teacher of Mathematics from January 2027. You will teach Years 7–12 Mathematics and contribute to the life of the school through the co-curricular program.

About You

You are passionate about boys' education and skilled at engaging students through innovative, student-focused teaching. You embody our school values of Teamwork, Scholarship and Service, and teach in a relational style while maintaining strong academic rigour. You understand the value of integrating technology across the curriculum and are keen to contribute to our co-curricular community.

What We're Looking For

• Recent, substantial experience teaching Mathematics in Years 7–12
• Demonstrated use and integration of technology across your Mathematics teaching
• Track record of innovative teaching practices that engage and motivate students
• Interest in contributing to the school community through co-curricular or extra-curricular involvement
• You hold current Queensland Teacher Registration or eligible to obtain, and are committed to the Anglican Code of Conduct and the school's Christian values and ethos.
