About the Role 
GBA is seeking a motivated and adaptable Project Officer to join our Toowoomba team. 
 
This is a unique opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers and project managers supporting critical local government and community infrastructure projects throughout Regional and Remote Queensland. 
 
Projects include roads, water supply, sewerage and wastewater infrastructure, airports and aerodromes, flood damage and disaster recovery projects, and general public works. 
 
A key component of this role is regular travel to regional and remote locations across Queensland. The successful candidate will be comfortable undertaking site inspections, collecting field data and occasionally working independently in isolated environments

What We Are Looking For 
• Current Queensland C Class Driver Licence 
• Strong organisational, communication and administrative skills 
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout regional and remote Queensland 
• Ability to work independently and within a team 
• Microsoft Office proficiency 
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn 
• Experience in project coordination, administration, engineering support, construction or local government (desirable) 
• Project Management qualifications are desirable
• Private Pilot Licence (Aeroplane) PPL(A) highly desirable but not essential - candidates with a pilot licence may have opportunities to undertake additional responsibilities operating company-approved aircraft in support of project delivery activities.
