About the role

We are currently seeking a Warehouse Team Members and Dispatch preferably with prior warehouse experience with knowledge in pipe, tubes, fittings, structural and merchant steel to join us.

The key responsibilities of the role include (but not limited to the following):

• General warehouse and workshop area maintenance and housekeeping

• Loading and unloading of delivery vehicles

• Materials Receipt & Dispatch

• Keep production lines supplied and fill empty containers, shelves and packaging materials as needed

• Picking, packing and unpacking pallets, small and large boxes, containers and large bulk packages of products

• Maintain accurate records and documentation

• Operating warehouse equipment safely and efficiently

• Assisting in all areas of the warehouse, workshop and other general duties as required for ongoing operations

To be successful, candidates will ideally have the following Skills/Experience:

• A strong focus on customer service

• A strong commitment to OH&S and following policies and values

• Must be physically fit & active to perform duties effectively

• Good literacy and numeracy skills with good attention to detail

• The ability to work individually and work together in a team environment

• Have a positive "can do" attitude

• Honest and Reliable

• Previous experience in warehouse and dispatch role (1 year minimum) or in a similar role highly regarded

• Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year experience in any warehouse, dispatch or logistics role

• An open and current Driver's License

• A current forklift license (Desirable)

• Candidates must have valid Australian work rights or a valid work visa
