Machine Detailer / Wash Bay Assistant

Proquip is seeking a reliable and motivated Machine Detailer / Wash Bay Assistant to join our Yard Team in Ravenhall.

In this hands-on role, you will prepare machinery and attachments for hire, maintain a safe and organised yard, and support our customers and internal teams. This position suits someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in presentation and can work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Wash and detail machinery, attachments and cabins to company standards
• Prepare equipment so it is clean and ready for hire
• Safely operate and move machinery around the yard
• Assist with loading and unloading customer and transport vehicles
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised yard
• Store tools and equipment safely and remove rubbish as required
• Follow all quality, health, safety and environmental procedures
• Support the Hire and Sales teams when required
• Participate in workplace training

• Ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines
• Basic computer skills and confidence using tablets or iPads
• Ability to work safely and collaboratively as part of a team
• Full Australian working rights
• Willingness to complete a pre-employment police check and medical

Desirable but not essential:

• A current forklift licence with at least 12 months’ experience
• Basic mechanical knowledge of earthmoving equipment
• Familiarity with access equipment or the transport industry
