Must Have Skills:

•  Technical skills expertise in Kafka, Oracle Responsys, API, Control-M, Batch process, data pipelines
•  Expertise in decommissioning related activities
• Strong ETL expertise

Detailed Job Description: 1. Lead end-to-end decommissioning of Kafka, Responsys, APIs, Control-M jobs, batch processes, and associated data pipelines.

2. Conduct application discovery and dependency analysis to identify upstream/downstream system impacts and decommission candidates.

3. Define decommission strategy, technical approach, execution plan, rollback procedures, and success criteria.

4. Coordinate migration and retirement of Kafka topics, producers, consumers, integrations, and messaging workflows.

5. Lead data archival, retention, validation, and compliance activities to ensure secure system retirement.

6. Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, application owners, infrastructure teams, and vendors to drive decommission activities.

7. Oversee SIT, cutover and post-decommission validation to ensure business continuity and zero critical impact.

8. Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation plans while providing regular status updates to leadership.

9. Develop and review technical documentation, runbooks, decommission checklists, architecture diagrams, and knowledge transfer materials.

10. Mentor development and support teams, drive technical governance, and ensure successful sign-off and closure of decommission milestones
