Solar & Battery Sales Consultant — Cairns 

$60K base + Uncapped Commission | OTE $120–$150K | Inbound Leads / Appointments booked for you 

JPower Energy is a Cairns-based solar, battery and electrical contractor servicing Far North Queensland. Locally owned, CEC accredited, Master Electricians members, with a 100% 5-star Google rating. Our lead volume has grown sharply and we need another consultant to keep pace. 

The opportunity 

• Permanent full-time role with $60,000 base plus super plus uncapped commission. 

• Solid sales reps can expect to earn $120,000–$150,000 OTE. 

• Qualified appointments booked daily. Your calendar is solid from day one, with some prospecting to boost your earnings. 

• Warm inbound leads through channels like Solar Choice, SolarQuotes and our own marketing. 

• Tier 1 product range with full Australian warranty backing. 

• 0% finance through Brighte, so affordability never blocks a deal. 

• Government rebates applied as an upfront discount on every quote. 

• Local territory covering Cairns, the Tablelands and surrounds. No interstate travel. 

Room to grow 
This is a ground-floor role in a business that's scaling. There's a clear path to Sales Manager for the right person as we expand and build out the sales department. If you want to build and lead a team, this is your opportunity. 

The role 

• Run consultations with pre-booked, qualified prospects via telephone consultations and site visits. 

• Present quotes, handle objections, follow up and most of all close. 

• Work your pipeline and keep CRM records current. 

• Full technical support from our team. You sell, we handle the design. 

About you 
You’re a strong salesperson with solid closing skills looking to grow in a booming industry.  

• Demonstrated sales results, ideally consultative or in-home. 

• Strong communicator who sells on value and suitability. 

• Solid CRM experience maintaining and updating customer and opportunity details through the full pipeline. 

• Current driver's licence and own vehicle (essential). 

• Cairns-based or willing to relocate. 

Highly regarded 

• Solar or renewable energy sales experience highly regarded but not essential.
