About the role

We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join our fun and supportive Mid North Coast team. 

This is a client-focused position responsible for clinical care that results in achieving client goals and other desired outcomes. It is ideal for a candidate who wants to achieve a healthy work life balance.

Responsibilities include

• Provide in-home clinical care to our clients.
• Undertake in- home client assessments.
• Use a systematic multiple approach to clinical decision-making.
• Implement and monitor the care of clients.
• Collaborate with the health care team to achieve client outcomes.
• Act to enhance the professional development of self to align with professional standards.
• Function in accordance with legislation and regulatory requirements.

Essential

• Understanding of, and a commitment to, person centred and strength-based practices.
• Registered Nurse with current APHRA registration.
• Sound clinical knowledge and experience.
• An innovative and dynamic approach to the provision of care.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills, with a high attention to detail and ability to establish priorities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – written and verbal.
• Ability to follow policies and procedures and implement quality processes.
• Demonstrated understanding of, and commitment to, work health and safety requirements.
• Previous clinical experience in aged care or community setting and/or Diabetes and wound management experience would be highly regarded.

The successful applicant will have (or be willing to obtain):

• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
• Current NSW Driver’s Licence 
• Working with Children Check
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
