About the Role

As our Assistant Branch Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the branch while helping drive sales growth, team performance, and exceptional customer service. Working alongside the Branch Manager, you'll lead by example and contribute to a safe, productive, and customer-focused environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting with branch operations and daily workflow management

• Handling cash, EFTPOS and financial transactions accurately

• Supporting branch growth, sales performance and profitability objectives

• Providing outstanding customer service and relationship management

• Assisting with counter sales, order picking, packing and dispatch activities

• Promoting a strong safety culture and supporting team engagement initiatives

• Coaching and supporting team members to achieve operational and sales goals

• Maintaining stock accuracy and efficient warehouse operations

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Previous retail, trade, wholesale or customer service experience

• Strong leadership capabilities and a positive, team-focused approach

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

• Experience handling cash and financial transactions

• Sound computer and intermediate IT skills

• A strong understanding of workplace health and safety practices

• A willingness to be hands-on and support all areas of the branch

• Forklift licence (desirable)

• Current Australian Driver's Licence
