Complete computer entries in the Archives database. Recording box lists, e.g., spreadsheet Arrange storage of records in appropriate folders, boxes etc Perform basic conservation work on archival records. We are the custodians of Australian Red Cross history, storing and preserving it for access and use.   The opportunity    For this role you will need: Some familiarity with archival concepts and principles Attention to detail Basic computer skills (email, Word, Excel) Organisational and record-keeping skills Ability to follow instructions and work in a team Some light lifting may be required Red Cross will ensure you have training, ongoing support and access to other opportunities within the world’s largest humanitarian network.     The impact    As a volunteer, you will help vulnerable older people to feel safe and improve their social connection by listening, empathising, and providing them with a friendly voice.
