About the Role

As Venue Manager, you'll be at the heart of creating an exceptional customer experience and a thriving team culture. Leading from the front, you'll inspire and support your team to deliver outstanding service, drive performance, and build a strong sense of community.

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Venue Manager or in a senior leadership role within the hospitality industry.

• Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting and forecasting.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to lead by example and inspire your team to deliver excellence.

• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team and make timely decisions

• A proactive, hands-on approach with a passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service

• Proficient in using various hospitality management software and point-of-sale systems

• A thorough understanding of health, safety, and licensing regulations applicable to the hospitality industry

Tasks & responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across all departments, ensuring a seamless guest experience.

• Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.

• Drive revenue growth through innovative strategies, creating unique events and exceptional customer service.

• Manage budgets and financial reporting, ensuring cost controls are in place.

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and health & safety requirements.

• Foster relationships with the local community and enhance the hotel's reputation.

Qualifications

• RMLV (Responsible Management of Licensed Venues)

• Approved Manager’s License

• Gaming Nomination & License

• Customer Liaison Officer (CLO) certification

• QLD RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol)

• QLD RSG (Responsible Service of Gambling)

• Food Safety Supervisor
