We are seeking exceptional Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital (LLND) teachers with demonstrated expertise in numeracy to support diverse learners in building the confidence, capability and foundation skills required for success in their chosen courses.
You will design, deliver and enhance engaging learning experiences that help students develop the literacy, language, numeracy and digital skills needed to achieve their educational, vocational and personal goals. Working across a range of vocational and foundation skills settings, you will apply contemporary and inclusive teaching practices to support learner success and improve student outcomes.

To be successful in this role you must meet the below essential requirements:
1. Hold one of the below qualifications:
Note: Successful applicants coming in under #3 must complete Adult Literacy and Numeracy Teaching (ALaNT) + TAELLN skillset (TAESS00026 or predecessor) within 18 months of engagement*. (*ALaNT expected to be available from T2, 2024.) * From an accredited Australian Higher Education Institution, or qualification recognised as equivalent to the stated AQF level or higher by the Australian Government Country Education Profiles (CEPs) tool
2. Minimum of three years post-qualification experience in teaching.
3. Hold evidence of the required teaching qualification to deliver Vocational Education and Training (VET). See the candidate support document here for details.
4. Be prepared to continue to develop their Vocational Education and Training (VET) knowledge and skills as well as their industry currency and trainer/assessor competence.
