Speedie Waste & Recycle is an Australian owned and operated waste and recycle management company, since 1954. Our management system is quality endorsed by Best Practice Certification and follows the ISO9001 Quality Systems. We work toward Reduce, Reuse, Recycle to Ensure Tomorrow. We tailor individual waste, recycle and re-purpose management plans which are convenient and sustainable to both our customers and to the broader community and our environment.
Job responsibilities:
Safe operation of company vehicles and equipment
Prestart and maintenance checks on vehicles and equipment on each shift
Safe loading and unloading of vehicle and equipment
Professional, courteous and solution focussed customer relations
These positions need to meet the following criteria:
Applicants must:
have an Australian working permit
have a current HR licence with a good driving record
have RL &/or FL waste truck driving experience
be willing to demonstrate compliance with legislation and Company values, policies and procedures
have previous experience in the waste management industry, specifically to the role
be able to demonstrate time management and communication skills
have a demonstrated understanding and commitment to safety, and follow Work Health & Safety legislation and requirements
be solution driven and a team player
