Machine Operators

About the role

Beavis Bartels is seeking experienced Machine Operators for the delivery of the New Bundaberg Hospital Project. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a major Queensland infrastructure project with ongoing opportunities for high-performing employees.

Key responsibilities

• Operating excavators and other civil construction plant.

• Excavation and installation of deep sewer infrastructure.

• Excavation and installation of water mains.

• Working safely in and around deep trench excavations.

• Working with trench shoring systems and shoring boxes.

• Carrying out daily plant inspections and basic operator maintenance.

• Maintaining high standards of safety, quality and workmanship.

• Assisting with general civil construction activities as required.

About you

• Current White Card.

• Current driver's licence.

• RII competency and demonstrated experience operating 20–50 tonne excavators.

• Experience working with trench shoring systems and shoring boxes.

• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.

• Dedicated to maintaining high-quality standards.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
