Registered Nurses (AM & PM Shifts)

Thompson Health Care Dural House is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to provide high level clinical care to meet resident’s individual care needs that will help enhance their quality of life. This includes ensuring that our resident care and treatments are documented to meet regulatory requirements, communicating effectively with residents, medical practitioners, allied health professionals and relatives as well as providing leadership and supervision to other staff.

Dural House is nestled in the leafy green suburb of Dural and is part of the Hills District, in North-West Sydney.  The surrounding area is semi-rural, peaceful and serene with excellent transport infrastructure.

About the Role:

We are currently recruiting for Registered Nurse to join our team on a Fixed Term Basis. You have 2 years' experience as a Registered Nurse in Australia and possess a thorough understanding of current best practice and the ability to work autonomously as well support our leadership team. This position will suit professional RN who are flexible and passionate about aged care.

The current shifts available are from 7:00am to 3:30pm or 14:30 to 10:30pm.

You will be based at our Dural home, located at 705 Old Northern Road Dural NSW 2158.

Skills and Experience:

• Endorsed by APHRA (essential); 

• Aged Care experience beneficial

• A good understanding of contemporary aged care, clinical practice and clinical leadership in a residential setting.

• Ability to problem solve, negotiate, mediate and resolve conflict.

• Great communicate skills and confidence to lead and actively contribute to a team.

• Strive for excellence in customer service and promote an environment of harmony and trust

• Demonstrated high level organisational and time management skills;

• Excellent written documentation and assessment skills;

• A good knowledge of the aged care accreditation standards

• Must have NDIS Workers Check (ESSENTIAL requirement)
