Synergie Australia is seeking an Administrative Officer for a 6-month contract opportunity based in Narangba, QLD.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading environmental services organisation and provide critical administrative support across billing, reconciliations, compliance reporting, and operational administration. Working closely with site leadership, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of financial and operational records while supporting business continuity during the transition of billing responsibilities.

The important parts:

• Pay: $35-40 per hour + Super
• Term: 6-month fixed-term contract 
• Location: Narangba, QLD
• Hours: Monday- Friday, 7:30am to 3:30pm
• Start: ASAP

What you will be required to do:

• You will be responsible for supporting administrative operations, customer billing, reconciliations, and compliance reporting within a busy operational environment
• Manage customer contract billing and reconciliations
• Validate, process and enter invoices accurately
• Ensure manifests are completed accurately and on time
• Maintain records to support audit, compliance and reporting requirements
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies
• Support Queensland EPA reporting requirements through cross-training
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure administrative tasks are completed efficiently
• Provide general administrative support to site operations

To be successful in the role you will:

• Have previous administration experience
• Possess strong SAP and Microsoft Excel skills
• Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Bring strong organisational and time management skills
• Have the ability to work independently and take ownership of your workload
• Possess strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Have a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
• Deliver a high level of customer service

Highly regarded:

• Salesforce experience
• JDE experience
• Experience within waste management, logistics, transport or environmental services
• Exposure to billing, invoicing and reconciliations
• Experience maintaining records for compliance and reporting purposes
