Procurement Specialist

Location: Goulburn, NSW

Role Overview

Seeking an experienced Purchaser to manage day-to-day procurement activities for a major infrastructure project. The role will coordinate local sourcing, supplier engagement, purchase orders, expediting and delivery of materials, equipment, consumables and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage local procurement, RFQs, quotations and purchase orders.
• Source and negotiate with suppliers for competitive pricing and delivery.
• Track and expedite orders to meet project and site requirements.
• Coordinate with Warehouse, Engineering, Logistics and Finance on procurement needs.
• Maintain procurement records and ensure compliance with purchasing procedures.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years’ experience in purchasing/procurement, preferably in construction, infrastructure, energy, mining or heavy industry.
• Strong experience with RFQs, supplier evaluation, negotiations, purchase orders and expediting.
• Experience using SAP or other ERP/procurement systems.
• Strong commercial awareness and supplier management skills.
• Advanced organisational, communication and Excel skills.
• Experience with major infrastructure or construction projects is highly desirable.
