About the role
The HSEQ Coordinator is a key member of the HSEQ team, responsible for supporting the delivery of our Health, Safety, Environment, Quality and Sustainability programs. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work closely with operational teams to help maintain safe work practices, HSEQ systems and documentation, coordinate training, support compliance, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across our sites, including positive safety culture across all operations.

Key responsibilities
Supporting the implementation and upkeep of HSEQ systems, policies, and procedures
Coordinating HSEQ training, inductions, and awareness initiatives
Assisting with risk assessments, audits, and workplace inspections
Supporting incident investigations and tracking corrective actions
Maintaining accurate HSEQ data, reports, and registers
Partnering with teams to promote safe work practices and continuous improvement
Assisting with wellbeing initiatives and return-to-work processes
Contributing to a positive, inclusive and safety-focused culture
About you
To be successful in the HSEQ Coordinator role, you will bring:
A passion for workplace safety, wellbeing and continuous improvement
Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels
Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
The ability to work confidently both independently and as part of a team
A curious, proactive mindset and a willingness to learn and grow within HSEQ
A Certificate IV or Diploma in Workplace Health & Safety (or be working towards one)
Experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or similar environment (desirable)
A working knowledge of WHS legislation
Strong administrative and data management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
