This is an outstanding opportunity for a capable Finance Officer to work directly with the CEO, taking ownership of internal finance operations while contributing to strategic decision-making, process improvement and broader business performance.
The Role:
Prepare monthly financial reports and maintain accurate financial records
Monitor budgets, cash flow and forecasting
Manage accounts payable and receivable functions
Process payroll and ensure compliance with tax, superannuation and statutory obligations
Support audits, banking requirements and internal financial compliance
Assist with systems, reporting and finance process improvements
Provide financial insights and operational support directly to senior leadership
About You:
Relevant qualifications and/or practical experience in finance, accounting or payroll
Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a similar finance role
Strong Microsoft Office capability, particularly Excel
Experience with accounting systems such as Xero (Power BI highly regarded)
Excellent communication, problem-solving and organisational skills
High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
Collaborative, proactive and values-driven approach
