Retail Assistant

Total Safety & Tools is a leading provider of quality tools and fire protection services in Port Hedland.

We are looking for a multi-skilled and motivated individual to join our team on a casual basis, working 40+ hours per week, with the opportunity to progress into a permanent full-time position. Flexible days and roster options are available.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and helpful customer service

• Assist customers with tools, equipment and product selection

• Process sales through POS

• Receive, unpack and put away incoming stock

• Replenish stock and maintain product displays

• Keep the shop, shopfront and yard clean and well presented

• Assist with fire equipment servicing

• General day-to-day duties as required

Skills & Experience

• Previous retail or sales experience

• Good customer service and communication skills

• Reliable, organised and willing to learn

• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a small team

• Basic computer skills

• Physically capable of handling stock and general manual duties

• An interest or experience in tools, equipment or trades would be advantageous

• Forklift licence desirable, but not essential
