Technical Skills:

1. SOAP, REST, Messaging Queue 2. Java 8, Apache Kafka

Must Have:

1. Experience in system integration using middleware/messaging platforms such as Apache Kafka, IBM MQ etc. 2. Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in Design, Configuration, Tuning of Apache Kafka Event Streaming Platform for high volume, and secure architecture. 3. Thorough experience in configuring and optimizing Kafka Components such as brokers, zookeepers, streaming APIs, and custom source and sink connectors. 4. Strong experience in recommending and implementing Kafka topics, partition, and replication strategies to meet performance goals. 5. Strong experience in streaming Design Patterns, Data Ingestion both, batch and real-time using pub-sub model. 6. Experienced in Microservices Architecture. 7. Experienced in Java frameworks like Spring Boot, Hibernate, etc. 8. Exposure to Confluent Kafka Platform, Tools and Services. 9. Excellent understanding of data streaming platform architecture and design 10. Excellent understanding of all aspects of the software development lifecycle and the application of quality processes 11. Knowledgeable in various security standards like Kerberos, OAuth2.0 and OpenID Connect, and Rating platforms, and integrating them with Kafka components. 12. Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD tools. 13. Exposure to Kubernetes and Container Orchestration. 14. Proficient in Kafka deployment on bare metal and public cloud platform AWS, GCP and MS Azure. 15. Experience in various monitoring and application insights technologies and how to best leverage them with Kafka platform. 16. Excellent analytical, problem resolution skills and broad functional experience allows to close the gap between Business and Technology.
