About the Role

The Social Enterprise Sales and Operations Champion will coordinates the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the Social Enterprise Hub, including bookings, events, and business support activities. Working under general direction and in collaboration with the Social Enterprise team, the role ensures the Hub operates as a welcoming, organised and professionally managed space. The position contributes to the successful delivery of Purple House’s social enterprise activities, creating positive experiences for patients, staff, directors, visitors and community partners.

Key responsibilities

• Under general direction coordinate the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the Purple House Social Enterprise Hub, ensuring efficient service delivery and improvement of business systems and processes.
• Coordinate bookings, scheduling and planning for activities at the Social Enterprise Hub, working in collaboration with the Purple Shed Coordinator and Bush Balm Manager.
• Plan events at the Social Enterprise Hub, including logistics, resource allocation, stakeholder liaison and venue preparation, and contribute to catering planning and post-event evaluation
• Support the promotion and growth of services at the Social Enterprise Hub, through customer engagement, stakeholder networking and participation in marketing activities.
• Oversee administrative systems including bookings, customer relationship management, accounts payable and receivable processes and accurate record management.
• Support Bush Balm operational activities including point of sale operations, cash handling, inventory management, packaging, shipping and stock control to ensure timely fulfillment and quality standards.
• Coordinate the maintenance and presentation of the Social Enterprise Hub facilities and assets, liaising with contractors and service providers as required, to create a safe, welcoming and functional environment.
• Maintain high standards of service delivery and food safety practices.
• Promote a safe work environment in accordance with legislative requirements, adhere to Work Health Safety guidelines, and report all incidents and near misses.
• Other duties as required within trained capabilities and within classification.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

Essential

• Certificate IV in Business Administration, Business, Community Services, Hospitality, Events or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to positively engage with the public and excellent customer service skills.
• Able to effectively work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Good computer literacy, able to use common computer-based productivity tools, such as MS Office suite.
• Advanced interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Must hold a valid 'C' class Australian Driver's licence.
• Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain).

Highly Desirable

• Certificate - Food Safety Supervisor or Food Handling Certificate.
