Job Opportunity
Australian Community Villages is seeking a reliable, hands-on, and motivated Site Caretaker to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Bass Hill village community.

This is a diverse role suited to someone who enjoys a mix of operations management, maintenance, resident engagement, and practical hands-on work. You will play a key role in ensuring the village is safe, well maintained, compliant, and operating efficiently.

• This is an on-site position located in Bass Hill, Sydney.

About the Role

• Day-to-day operations of the village

• Overseeing onsite staff, contractors, and service providers

• Coordinating maintenance, repairs, gardening, and site presentation

• Supporting reception and front office operations

• Managing resident concerns and fostering a positive community environment

• Ensuring compliance with WHS requirements and the Residential (Land Lease) Communities Act

• Conducting regular inspections and maintaining site standards

• Assisting with administrative and operational reporting duties

About You

• Previous experience in site, property, accommodation, facilities, or village management

• Strong maintenance and gardening skills

• A hands-on and proactive approach to work

• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities

• The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities

• A strong understanding of safety and compliance responsibilities

• A current NSW Driver Licence

Highly Regarded

• Trade, handyperson, or maintenance experience

• Experience in residential communities, accommodation, or hospitality operations

• First Aid Certificate

• Willingness to reside on-site
