Join our Outpatients Department and play a vital role in supporting the delivery of specialist medical clinics. This position is ideal for a highly organised, proactive, and customer-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment. You will provide high-level administrative and clerical support, ensuring the efficient coordination of outpatient services while delivering exceptional customer service to patients, clinicians, and stakeholders. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to the smooth day-to-day operations of the department and make a positive impact on patient care and experience.
Provide efficient and accurate administrative, clerical, and reception support to the Outpatients Department and specialist medical clinics. Deliver exceptional customer service to patients, carers, clinicians, and stakeholders, ensuring a positive patient experience. Coordinate outpatient appointments, referrals, clinic schedules, and patient records to support effective clinic operations. Manage competing priorities and undertake day-to-day decision-making to ensure the smooth running of outpatient services Maintain accurate data entry, documentation, and communication processes while adhering to NSW Health policies, procedures, and confidentiality requirements.

They will demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a high standard of service delivery. A proactive approach, sound judgement, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively will be key to success in this role.
Proven experience in administrative, clerical, or reception roles, preferably within a healthcare or customer service environment. Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and manage changing priorities effectively Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to providing outstanding customer service to patients and stakeholders. Ability to use initiative, exercise sound judgement, and make decisions to support the day-to-day operations of outpatient services. High level of accuracy and attention to detail, including experience with data entry, appointment scheduling, and maintaining confidential records.
