Roofing Apprentice – Full-Time Position

JLR Roofing is looking for a motivated Roofing Apprentice to join our growing team!

We are a growing residential roofing business servicing all areas, with plenty of quality work and a great crew.

We pride ourselves on quality, workmanship and attention to detail, and we’re looking for someone who is keen to learn, work hard and build a career in the roofing industry.

What you’ll learn

As an apprentice with JLR Roofing, you’ll get hands-on experience across all areas of residential roofing, including:

• Roof laying and repairs

• Fascia and gutter installation

• Flashing

• General roofing work

• Working safely at heights

• Using tools and equipment

• Learning from experienced roofers and tradespeople

What we’re looking for

You don’t need years of experience — we’re looking for the right attitude and someone who is willing to learn.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have a great attitude and strong work ethic

• Be reliable and punctual

• Be keen to learn a trade and develop new skills

• Take pride in their work

• Have good attention to detail

• Be able to work well as part of a team

• Be comfortable working outdoors and at heights

• Have reliable transport

• Have a White Card, or be willing to obtain one

Previous roofing or construction experience is preferred but not essential.
