Heavy Vehicle Technician

Newcastle Commercial vehicles deal in and service a large range of Trucks and Commercial Vehicles in the area, including Brands such as Iveco, Hino and LDV.

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle Technician to be part of Our busy service team.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Qualifications and experience as a Heavy Vehicle Technician
• HR or higher class of licence
• Ability to use diagnostic equipment and a high level of fault finding skills
• A 'fix it right the first time' philosophy
• A high level of attention to detail
• European, American and Japanese product experience highly regarded
• Own tool kit

Duties and responsibilities of this role:

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a variety of heavy vehicles as directed
• Efficiently diagnose and rectify faults in vehicle systems
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, at the required productivity level, including documentation.
• Practice and promote WHS regulation compliance.
