Financial Planning Administrator / Senior Financial Planning Administrator

About the role

This is an opportunity for someone with around 4 years' experience in financial planning who is ready to take ownership of their client files and play an important role in delivering a high-quality client experience. You will work closely with the Financial Planning team and be responsible for supporting the advice process from technical preparation through to implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Providing high-quality administrative and technical support to the Financial Planning team
• Preparing and managing advice documentation, including ROAs
• Assisting with financial modelling, research and advice preparation
• Preparing and submitting investment and superannuation applications
• Managing implementation of advice and following up with providers
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records
• Managing multiple client files and ensuring deadlines are met
• Liaising with clients, advisers and product providers
• Ensuring implementation tasks are followed through to genuine completion
• Supporting the team to deliver an efficient and consistent advice process

About you

• Has approximately 4 years' experience in financial planning
• Has strong financial planning administration and technical knowledge
• Understands the advice and implementation process
• Has excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Is highly organised and able to manage competing priorities
• Takes ownership and follows tasks through to completion
• Has strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Is comfortable working independently while being part of a collaborative team
• Has a good understanding of financial planning compliance requirements
• Experience with WealthSolver, Risk Researcher, Xplan or similar financial planning systems will be highly regarded
